Rick is an amazing mechanic and I will recommend him to anyone looking for a car service. He is kind and reasonable, always looking to give a fair price for the job he did. He always tries to go the extra mile to make his customers happy, whether its wiping down the dashboard or even putting Rain X on their window (that's my favorite part). My car always smells clean when I get it back, and thats only after AT MOST 2 days. He does his absolute best to work with you and your schedule, and is just a pleasure to have a conversation with in the meantime. He keeps you up to date with repairs, calling when it's ready or if the cost fluctuates, he calls to make sure there's no surprises upon your arrival. I absolutely love him, and am greatful everytime I choose to bring my car to his shop.

Rick rocks! I live in Branford CT and although Wethersfield is definitely a hike Rick came highly recommended and it was definitely worth the drive. My battery was dying and Rick got me in to see him ASAP, replaced my battery, tested out my engine and put this great rain guard on my windshield. All of which was for a very reasonable price and all the while was filled with good conversation. He was helpful in teaching me how to understand what car lingo (or certain lights) means too- as I don't have a very good understanding of cars in general. All in all Rick is great and I'd highly recommend him and his shop to anyone. I'll definitely be back!

The service at Rick's auto repair was friendly and quick. Rick took the time to explain what was wrong with my car step by step and broke down the pricing, which was fair and very reasonable. Rick is fair, honest and competent. I have had Rick repair and maintain my cars for 15 years, my wifes and my car plus cars for my four children. I would highly recommend Rick to anyone who needs repairs on their vehicle. Rick was very professional and really took the time to explain everything that needed to be done to repair my vehicle. And the best part was that his prices were very reasonable! It was a very pleasant experience.

He does the nice work. i saw lot of good reviews about him and went to see him. he diagnosed and fixed my car for much less than other repair guys out there. he tried to save money as much as he could. i would definitely recommend him to my friends.

I've had experience with dozens of auto repair facilities over the more than sixty years I've been driving. Between my son and I, we've been using Rick's services now for several years. In our opinion, Rick is head and shoulders above anyone else we?ve done business with. His honesty and integrity are beyond question. His knowledge of all things automotive (mechanical, electrical, electronic, etc.) exceed that of any mechanic we?ve known. My first experience with him was when my engine warning light went on for no apparent reason. Rick quickly diagnosed that there was no problem with the engine, reset the warning light, and refused to take any money for the service. I have never had a better experience going to a mechanic. He was honest and informative. I didn't feel taken advantage of at all. I would tell anyone I knew to go see him. He didn't make me get things done that I didn't really need. As a matter of fact he kept me from having things done that I didn't really need. Honest Mechanic. Seems like an oxymoron but it is true.

I am a teacher and getting married this summer, so this is not my year for car repairs! I was told by the dealer that I needed $575 worth of work done. I had the money and was going to pay it, but something told me I should check out a few more places. Every place I called gave me a quote without even looking at the car. Rick at RIck's Auto, though, said "I can't give you a quote without seeing the car. It wouldn't be right." So, I went in. Rick took the time to raise my car in the air, to show me underneath and explain what he was looking at, and came to the conclusion that I needed absolutely NOTHING done on my car. He easily could have said "You need a new this or a new that...", because I know nothing about cars. He didn't. He was honest and said "those parts are good for a long time. I know. I own a Honda too." Seriously. Go to Rick. He is the most honest auto person I have worked with. Ever. I will definitely be going back to him whenever I need repairs

This guy is great. I went in to his shop thinking I was going to spend a ton of money on my car, but he actually saved me money! He gave me great suggestions on how to save in some areas, and was honestly the best service shop I have ever encountered..I will recomend him to everyone I know, and he will definately get my service in the future as well. Ricks is the best! I've been taking my cars there for over ten years. One thing Ricks does really well is let you know excatlyy what needs to be done and what your options are. I know that I am well taken care off and that i'll have my car back as soon as possible.
