While I had been a huge supporter of Forgotten Felines, what they have done to me in my life is unforgiveable. After I found out that I had to move 600 miles way from what I hd called home for almost 30 yrs. I had to find homes for 5 of my furbaby kitties. My son had 2 cats, Peanut and Syphnix, my sons best friend lived next door and they also had many outdoor cats as well as three dogs. My son's friend wanted to take his two cats and I continuously asked to make sure that it was alright with his mother, who had personal poroblems with me. I received many, "everything is alrght with my mother.." from my sons friend and on the day I had to leave the cats went to live at the neighbors house, this was on 9/25/11. While my son did not move with me he resided with a friend on the same street. He informed me about a month later that one of the cats that the neighbor had taken in had a swollen ear. I informed my son that this cat, Peanut, needed to see a Vet ASAP. When my son's friends mother heard this she phoned Forgotten Felines and told them that I had moved and had abandonned two cats because she did not want to take this cat to a vet for medical care. Since this neighbor has made these false aligations against me Forgotten Felines has continued to make erroneous statements about me to several places. Forgotten Felines has never met me in person nor have they ever been to any place that I have ever resided but yet they judge me on a statement that a person who has personal resentments against me made to them...without ever talking to me they took the word of a woman who has never cooperated with them in the past. Forgotten Felines took it upon themselves to contact places in the area that I now reside and tell them false things about me trying to make me look like I have been some kind of animal abuser. If anyone knows me they know that I take good care of all my furbabies and love them as much as my own children. Forgotten Felines has helped me in the past with many cats that had been dropped off at my house...I had always appreciated the help they had given to me, but would never had expected them to judge me in such a way without ever even talking to me and ignoring anyone who tried to correct what they believed. They have even blocked me and others on their Facebook page from telling them that the facts they were given about these two cats were totally false. Calling area places such as the SPCA and telling them what they believe to be true about me was uncalled for and unfair to me as a supporter of them, they won't even talk to their local Animal Control Officer in their own town! Is this proper behavior for a place you want to adopt your furever baby from? They could even do this to you! In this country you are suppose to be innocent until proven guilty....Forgotten Felines just judged me guilty without ever talking to me or anyone else who knows the truth.....they are DEAD WRONG with what they have done and now they act as if they are above the law. Forgotten Felines now have a much loved older cat of mine that went missing in August and ignore my many attempts to have him returned to me.....what kind of rescue/adoption facility does this to someone?? I want my 15 year old cat Mackie, who they now call Dusty and is staying with one of their volunteers, back with me where he belongs....my life will never be the same until Mackie is home with me his mommy......
