Melani Dhason, MS, RD, LDN, joined the George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates in December 2021 as a registered dietitian. She has a bachelor's degree in dietetics from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan, and a master's degree in nutrition and dietetics from Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California. Her professional experiences include working with a wide range of age groups, from school-aged children to the elderly. Most recently, she has been providing nutrition counseling to patients through telehealth services to help manage eating disorders, chronic disease, weight management, and counseling before and after bariatric surgery. Dhason has had a passion for food and nutrition for as long as she can remember, and she enjoys sharing this passion with others. She is also a DMV native and is happy to be working in the community she grew up in.
