Do not go here unless you like being overcharged and fighting insurance battles. The service and care was adequate, on par with what I've received in the past and with what I would expect. In billing, however, Davidson Dental falls far short. I had a procedure done on three teeth.The American Dental Association had updated the billing codes for consecutive teeth for this procedure. Davidson Dental, however, used the old billing codes. When my insurance rightly only covered the lower costs under the new billing codes, Davidson Dental refused to change their billing codes and charged me the difference of several hundred dollars.

Probably the most incompetent dental office staff that you would ever encounter. They are not operating in the 21st century and everything is done by snail mail. Victoria is very condescending and likes to come off as smarter than you and that it's the insurance company's fault, but the whole reason why I've been experiencing delays is due to their negligence.

If they went digital with x-rays and claims processing, things could move a lot faster, and they could probably fire half of their worthless staff. It's unfortunate, because I like the dental care I receive there, especially Dr. Winson, but the office staff there is not that bright.

Great location and fabulous service. They are very professional and Dr. Davidson is a real gem. She is passionate about teeth. Give them a try.

I've been a patient at Davidson Dental in Washington D.C. for a couple of years now and my care has been great! Dr. Spitzer is primary Dentist and he's very patient and caring. For years, I stayed away from all dentists due to harsh treatment from another Doctor. Most recently, my care plan required a procedure by Dr. David King and he was awesome! I took the time to talk to me person to person, not Big Dentist to little patient. He explained the procedure to me and my recover went exactly as he said. After that, he assisted the receptionist with closing out my payment at the counter. It was very comforting to me to know my dentist was not too BIG to handle smaller patient tasks. I’ve never seen a Dentist or Hygienist sit at the front desk. Soon after, I needed care from Dr. Davidson. She's an amazing person first of all. I was a little flustered because my appointment was delayed. After I expressed my issues with her assistant, Dr. Davidson immediately apologized for the delayed and explained there was an emergency with her patient. I totally understood. She practices very gentle dentistry for apprehensive like me! LOL! She even allowed to me to look as she worked in my mouth using a mirror! How's that for patient involvement! It was amazed by her care and sensitivity. She talked to me; didn't rush me out of the chair and gave me the biggest hug as I left her office. I have NEVER had any doctor of any type reach out to me in that way. She loves what she does and it shows though her care and in her very countenance. I trust her wholeheartedly. Whever your dental need is, please go to Davidson Dental. You’ll love the clean art deco atmosphere too!

Dr. Dennis Winson is a good dentist. But sadly he works in a horrible office where the billing practice is highly questionable! There're services that are free under insurance plan, but yet his office impose fees on the patients; they overcharge as much as they can up front, and resist to refund you in a timely manner, even when you showed proof of "Explaination of Benefit" from insurance company. It's an ugly fight when question them, and simply not worth it to use them.

It's always hard to find a good dentist in a new town but I found a gem.. The Davidson dental staff are competent and friendly. I have "problem" teeth as my enamel is wearing away. When one of my teeth chipped, I went in to have it corrected and mentioned that I would be attending my daughter's college graduation as well as a wedding and so I wanted to be able to really smile. Not only did they fix that tooth but added some bonding to two of my other front teeth to make my smile look even better. I was so happy!! Dr Davidson is working with my insurance company to come up with a treatment plan for me to get veneers or caps to permanently solve my problem. And did I mention she is gentle, easy to talk to and makes me feel comfortabe. I am never anxious when I enter their office. That's a big thing for me. I highly recommend Dr Davidson and her staff.
