Allison Koutsandreas is a Family Nurse Practitioner within the Division of Neurology at the George Washington Medical Faculty Associates. After receiving her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from University of Pittsburgh, she worked in the Intensive Care Unit at the George Washington University Hospital from 2012 until 2017. While working, she obtained her Masters degree in nursing at Marymount University and became board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2016. She then worked as a nurse practitioner with the Department of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine at the George Washington University Hospital form 2017-2018. She joined the Headache Center in 2018 and treats patients with primary headache disorders. She oversees the headache 'rescue room' and is also involved in clinical research trials.
