Good selection, sure.

I went to this shop after visiting their website - I saw they carried "Prota" brand synthetic wigs, and so I proceeded to visit the Prota website to see what kind of hairpieces were available. The one I was interested in was the "Tanya" fall which, as you can see from the company website, is priced at $51.00:

Now, that is from the company who makes the product, and so I expected a similar price at H.E.R.I. I called ahead to make sure they carried the wigs, and the shopowner confirmed. I went to the shop and asked to try the wigs, and the shopowner asked me if I had "done research first before coming in." I thought this was a strange question. Well, I found out the reason behind it soon enough: I asked about the price she had put on this synthetic, $51.00-value wig: $400!!!! I mean, talk about mark up!!! And she markets to people with cancer - how NICE. Ridiculous. I mean, I could have understood a $20 or even $30 markup, but from $51 to $400? That's theft in my opinion!!! To boot, another customer walked in while I was trying wigs and the shopowner basically forgot I was even in the shop - I tried to ask questions and got flat out ignored because she was paying attention to the other customer. I walked out and she didn't even notice. Skip this place - the "2 Brothers" shops in Providence have a better selection and true-to-value prices.

I am a cancer patient going through chemo and I went to this place to check out their wigs. I also went to two other establishments and found this one to have an excellent selection and prices were in the same ball park. The women who manages the place was very nice, patient and had no problem with me taking my time looking through wigs. Something I also notice she did that the other two stores did not, was being concenience of health and safety. Before I tried on any wigs she offered me a nylon hair piece to use while trying on the wigs so not to spread any thing one might have on their scalp. I really appreciated that being that under treatment people have to be so careful not to pick up germs and other things. I did purchase my wig from her and have been very satisfied.

MY HAIR WAS FALLING OUT! I went to a place called Hairstage Five, for extensions, strand by strand glue. They hurt, I had sores on my head, they were pulling at my head, and I had patches o'f hair falling out. They didn't match the haircolor that was done there, 3 times and still couldn't match, found rihairextensions of Warwick, Nancy is the best. She even came in on a Saturday, she was out of RI and came in to help me, she was even willing to come at 9:00 pm to help me, she's awesome! Passionate, and caring about her work and she made me feel beautiful. Girl;s she has everything, she's so talented in what she does, you'll love her! I wll never go anywhere else. Absolutely a 5 star business!! After searching all over for a particular style wig, not only was i able to find this in stock, but Nancy was able to custom style and fit this wig to design it even more so to the style i was looking for. Not only that, her service and collection is top notch. Hair Extensions in RI is the only place to shop for hair extensions and pieces!!!

The owner nancy is charming & professional. She is very encouraing , lifting my spirits from my cancer and hair loss.
