CA State Bar Association, phone number, 800 843-9053. You can get a form on line or have them mail you one. Better yet, instead of the form, send your own letter to them explaining your problems with Mr. Alderson. Include copies of anything that might be helpful or factual. Billing records, court documents, personal notes (approximate date of conversations and what was said, etc.). If enough people send in letters, etc., The CA State Bar will figure out what is going on here. It will take them about 2 months to respond. Make sure you include your name, address, phone number and his name, State Bar Number (above) etc.

It is one thing to be new and inexperienced. It is another thing to literally lie and disregard/disrespect your clients. He doublecharges, overcharges, won't return phone calls or emails. My case took over 2 years (It should have taken 6 months!!!) and I literally hadn't spoken to him in over 1 year. My husband even made an appointment to talk to him on the phone and Alderson broke the appointment. There are things I will advise the State Bar of, so as to not lay all my cards on the table here in public. Mr. Alderson is going to get in trouble! Big trouble! He's very dishonest to say the least.

This Law firm has served my family for years !! James Alderson is Amazing in the courtroom!! we have used his services for over 10 years!! BEST LAWYER EVER!!

I just requested my file several months after my case ended. If you didn't receive straight answers from Mr. Alderson or his office staff, you might want to request your file. You will probably find answers to the questions you had long ago...When you were regularly in the dark about your case. I've been having problems will my bill - overcharged. I've had to hire another attorney. This has been the most awful experience ever. What a waste of time, money and stress. I would never recommend Mr. Alderson. He "dropped the ball big time"!!!

He has numerous people angry with him because he doesn't do what he's suppose to as a lawyer. He merged with Senn Koppel and is now called Alderson, Koppel Associates Inc. I feel pretty bad for Mr. Koppel. I'm wondering if Mr. Koppel knows that he's just ruined his life since he's signed on with James Alderson.....or perhaps Mr. Koppel knows all about James, and he's just as corrupt. Mr. Koppel, since you are a lawyer,are you aware that you are suppose to report unethical lawyers to the state bar? Or are you helping him with his unethical actions in numerous cases?

He does not take his cases very seriously as he files continuances to draw out the case so he can charge you more money! He does not have any sympathy for ANY of his clients. He is very greedy and needs to learn how to be a little more professional towards his clients. As far as I'm concerned I would NOT refer this "lawyer" to anyone....he's very inexperienced and corupt. Make sure you learn more about this guy before you choose him as YOUR lawyer.

I thought I was the only one that had something bad to say about this Law Office! James Alderson has no idea what he's doing. He's young, unorganized and has no ablity to say the truth. He's definatley one of those corrupt lawyers.

He claims he's an Aggressive lawyer, but from his actions in my court case he's a spinless bigot. He never told me until the last second what he was going to do with my case. He puts motions in for Continuances because he's never doing what he's suppose to do as a f-ing lawyer. And when confronted about it he makes up ridiculous excuses! I've also heard he likes to date his clients, I know this from a personal experiance. BE AWARE OF THIS GUY! He's an actor and only tells you things that YOU want to hear instead of the truth! I should report his ass to the state bar! Also, be aware of what he is doing with your money. He likes spending "his business's money" (your money) on all of his girlfriends and himself!
