Provided by YP.comSo about 2 weeks ago I picked up dry cleaning from Jerry's Cleaners. The cleaners lost my pants to an Armani Suite. They returned them 10 days later damaged. Now they are saying that they were damaged when I brought them in. Do not do business with these people. They suck......

Provided by YP.comI took a brand new bridesmaid dress to be cleaned before wearing it at a wedding. They stuck huge pins through my strapless Taffeta dress to hang it up on a paper hanger when the dress comes with ribbons to hang it up. They tore part of the stitching on the front of the dress. I took it back and they didn't apologize, just sent me to their other location, Jerry's, to show the dress to the manager. She convinced me to leave the dress overnight for their seamstress to fix. I picked it up today and the holes from the pins are still visible, the stitching they were supposed to fix came undone the minute I took the dress out of the plastic covering, and there was a new run in the fabric. I took it back again and told the manager I wanted to be reimbursed for the price of the dress. She said the owner had to see it and I would have to leave it for one day. I reluctantly left it and got a call two days later that the owner refused to pay me for anything. The manager gave me a refund on the money I paid to have the dress cleaned, but that was it. The dress is still damaged.

I have never seen a buisness that did not care at all about their customers until now. This buisness has gone downhill since new ownership.

Jerry's Cleaners may do very well with regular cleaning. Don't trust them with difficult jobs that contain different types of materials in the same garment. I specifically asked them not to try cleaning my academic regalia, which costs close to $900.00 new, if they could not care for the velvet on it as well as the wool that made the majority of the garment. When I got the robe back, the velvet panel on one side was ruined. Not only did they ruin the velvet, they tried to tell me it should look matted and mottled, unlike the velvet on the other side of the robe. Then they said they wanted to put new velvet on the robe themselves, rather than pay to have it fixed by people with experience working with academic robes. Given my experience up to that point, I took my robe back to the manufacturer for repairs, which cost me $185.00. Needless to say, I was not happy!
