I love these guys.... honest and dependable.... my first choice always!

Family Auto Repair is the best auto repair shop I've ever used. My wife and I have used them for a few years and they are outstanding. Once they fix a problem it stays fixed. Our car has 350,000 miles on it and it is still cruising down the road thanks to them.

They charge a very fair price. They are the first mechanic I've ever been to that I've felt like I didn't pay them enough for the work they did. Our truck hit the age where it needed a new timing belt and the dealership was going to charge an incredible amount of money. Family Auto put in a new timing belt, fix a problem with a sticky brake, took care of a squeaky clutch, and ran a diagnostic on the air conditioner for less than half of what the dealership wanted just for the timing belt. When I told the owner how much the dealership was going to charge, he just shook his head. The truck has been running great with the new timing belt.

When it comes to auto repair, Family Auto is definitely as good as it gets!

I have 8+ years of auto repair stories I could share. Let me just say, Karl and crew are honest and fair, which is a rarity in this town and this day and age. They always, go out of their way. They treat you like a part of the family, they treat your car as if it were their own. Family Auto Repair is the real deal.

So nice to go to a shop and be treated like one of the family. Karl treats your car like his only family will be driving it, that's the best compliment I can imagine.

I've been doing business with this shop every since they opened. AND they are HONEST! and in this day and age it's a rare quality. Karl is an great mechanic and when I had been to others who could not fix my problem he found it. Oh and by the way I have a car dealership so I have sent ALOT of vehicles there!! 5 stars!

I'm not usually the type of person that writes reviews like this. But I just had to do it this time. My daughter attends Missouri State Universtiy in Springfield and we (her parents) live in Kansas City. As most teenages do, she seems to always have car issues. She is in her senior year at MSU and we have never had any good luck with automotive repair shops in Springfield. Well, this time her alternator went out and I was at a loss as to where she should take it. The economy has taken a toll on her budget so I was trying to find a place that was reasonable and would take good care of her. I have to say, Carl and Angie did just that. They even went to her apartment to get the keys as the car was stranded a few blocks from there. They took care of having it towed to the shop and did an excellent job in repairing it. They called me to let me know what was going on and kept me in the loop the entire time. THIS IS THE BEST EXAMPLE OF TRUE CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE SEEN IN YEARS. They are just the nicest people I've worked with in a long time and they were so caring. They went out of their way to make sure her car was repaired and she was back in business by the next morning. They treated her as if she were their own daughter. Thank you Carl and Angie for bringing back that true, old-fashioned, exceptional customer service we all appreciate so much. We are telling all of our friends, my daughter's friends, and anyone else we talk to that.......YOU ROCK!!!
