      The Hitting Center in Springfield, Illinois is an indoor baseball and softball training facility that provides boys and girls the instruction, skills, and confidence they need to perform awesome on the field. Through such cutting edge technology as the Swing Builder, athletes can hone their skills and improve in every facet of the game.       Can no one proofread anymore?

      Boy, if I were the owner of this business and had paid my hard earned money for this ad, I'd be one unhappy customer. There are two key errors in this advertisement. First, the ad violates the old adage, I don't care what you say about me as long as you spell my name right. In the "Description" section, the description begins with "The hunting center". This is very unfortunate. It should read, "The Hitting Center" with each word beginning with a capital letter because it is the name or title of the business (the name is a proper noun). Second, the tag line for the business (fourth line from the top) is probably wrong as well. While it is possible that The Hitting Center prides itself in "mentioning" tomorrow's champions, it is more likely that they wish to boast of "mentoring" tomorrow's champions. The tag line should be altered to read, "Mentoring The Champions Of Tomorrow".To whomever proofed the copy prior to publication, I can only hope you have found a new position which d
