Hale Abstract has the only complete title plant in Shelby County. Our tract books begin in 1822 with U.S. Land Grants and run to the present time. All of the Real Estate is indexed by legal description and not by name. This is a more accurate way for indexing the records to insure that nothing is missed. Through the 100 plus years that Hale Abstract Company, Inc has been in business, we have accumulated a history on almost every tract or parcel of Real Estate in Shelby County. This gives us a base to start from on almost any order that we receive.
