Filing bankruptcy can be a scary thing. My first contact with John was via telephone and after speaking with him, I cancelled my appointment with another bankruptcy attorney. He was for us! At no point did we see him check his watch for the next appointment, or 'check the meter' to try to charge us more. In the end, most bankruptcy attorneys are roughly the same cost, but Caraker gives it to your straight from the beginning - no hidden costs, no last minute surprises. Also - he seems to actually GET that you're broke! I'm amazed how many bankruptcy attorneys just don't understand that we don't have a lot of money! He never acted judge-y about our past bad decisions, and he made us feel at ease with the whole process, which is saying a lot for such a stressful thing.
