I went to Akerman's to find a comfortable pair of tennis shoes. They have a variety of styles to look at. I learned a great deal about the kind of shoe I would get the most out of. (I loved the New Balance shoes!) Diane was able to help me find one that offered me arch support and were light on my feet. Wonderful experience. If you want friendly service from people who care about your feet go see them.

I went to Akerman's with my mother-in-law. We were looking for a pair of shoes that would be comfortable, and stylish, for an upcoming wedding. (My mother-in-law has numerous foot problems & shoes are VERY hard for her to find). Mary helped us find shoes that worked on her foot and that we stylish. We ended up getting two pairs that are so comfortable and good looking. My mother-in-law went to the wedding and was on her feet the whole time. Her feet never bothered her. (She has had the same experience with the other pair also.) Thank you so much Akerman's & thank you Mary for the help. We will definitely be back for shoes.

I hate when they don't post the store hours on the website or on yellow pages then you call and no recording telling you the hours either. Three strikes your out
