I really was impressed by the great service I recieved at the house of vacuums and sewing I had my sewing machine repaired there and they were half the price of anyone. I called another place and they said it would take a week or two to get my sewing machine back and it would cost 199.00 to service it dan did it for me for 69.99 and I got it back the next day. I would highly recommend these guys if you have any vacuum or sewing machine need. They're very nice, friendly, and amazing service!

I took my old sewing machine to The House of Vacuum and Sewing Center on Arlington Avenue in Riverside, to be fixed because I hadn’t used it very much and it was “frozen”. I was familiar with the area and was a little worried about locating the shop and finding adequate parking. However, the large signage on the shop made it easy to spot and the driveway is easy to access from all different directions. I was pleased to find plenty of parking spaces in the back.



The shop itself is small but the windows give plenty of light to see the products that are arranged on shelves around the perimeter of the room. At the counter I was greeted by one of the two gentlemen that work there. He listened to my description of the problem, gave me a quote and told me it would be ready in 3 days. The second gentleman was at the counter the day I picked my machine up and he provided information regarding the repairs and made suggestions for maintaining my machine in good working order. My machine was ready in 3 days. It’s working well and I was asked to pay the price that was originally quoted to me.



Both men were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking for repairing their sewing machine.

At the House of sewing I found them to be very helpful and understanding about my vacuum cleaner problems I had taken it ti three different stores and they never could fix it right and had kept it over a month. The guys at the House of vacuums fixed my vacuum in three dys and charged half of what I originally paid at the other place fast freindly great service.
