I wish I could give more stars. Elite Marine is great! Doug and his staff know boats and are very honest. I had an issue with my Guardian alarm going off when my RPM went above 1100 on one of my two motors. I figured it was an issue with the water pump or impeller on that side so I took the boat to Elite. Doug said they were swamped, but he would take a look at it when he could. On the third day, they called and said it was done. I figured that after three days, parts, labor, etc., I was looking at about 1k dollars. I asked what the damage was and was told it was $85. Hard water had built up on a lever and the sensor thought that adequate water wasn't coming in to cool the motor. Doug could have easily said that he had to replace an impeller or water pump and spent hours working on it. I would have been okay with the amount and would have been none the wiser. But that's obviously not Doug's style. Unfortunately in the marine and automotive industry, integrity is not a common core value. But that obviously is a trait that Doug has and lives by. Thanks Doug and the Elite Marine staff for your honesty and integrity. Should the need arise again, (Hopefully it doesn't) I would go straight back to Elite Marine and recommend that you do the same.
