      Pittsburgh Pastoral Institute is an interfaith counseling and psychotherapy center. Its counseling services include psychiatric consultation and individual, couple, family and group counseling. The center also offers career assessment services. It also offers educational programs for clergy and mental health professionals. Pittsburgh Pastoral Institute is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare as an outpatient psychiatric clinic. The center offers services through a range of professionals that include licensed psychologists, social workers, professional counselors, marriage and family therapists, certified pastoral counselors and consulting psychiatrists. It accepts insurance plans of various companies that include Highmark, Community Care, Value Options, United Behavioral Health, Health America and Aetna. Pittsburgh Pastoral Institute was founded in 1964 and has its office in Pittsburgh.
