Headquartered in Northern California, Crown is a stockholding agent of UniGroup, Inc, the parent company of United Van Lines. We also maintain operations in Los Angeles and Sacramento. Crown has several operating divisions. These divisions include International transport, Commercial relocations, Domestic household good transportation, Storage and Asset management and Automobile transport. Crown is an Agent of United Van Lines for the interstate transportation of Household goods. Crown's forwarding business is independent of any van line affiliation and works through its affiliations with OSA ( Overseas Shippers Association ) FIDI ( the world's largest transportation organization of its kind ) and OMNI ( an exclusive organization of prequalified moving companies ). Crown's dedication to excellent customer service and continuous process improvement led it to be the first moving company in the United States to be ISO 9001 certified for both domestic and global moving services. This quality system has been a catalyst for change and improvement since its inception at Crown in 1995. Today, Crown is owned by 4 stockholders, Tom Doyle, Chairman ; Robert Bowen, CEO ; Janet Bowen, SVP and Salvatore Ferrante, Divisional President. Crown is considered a small business as defined by the United States Federal Government. Our businesses continue to show solid growth and Crown remains relatively free of debt.
