They installed a new metal roof on our house after the old one was storm damaged, anf the new roof leaks like a sieve. It started leaking after a month, in Jan '11. We called, and they have unsuccessfully tried to fix it. It's now Feb of 2013, and water still pours down along the wall, and we now have dishes out to catch water that drips in the LR. Part of the BR and kicthen ceilings are coming down. There is a rotten spot in the wood paneling in the TV room, and dark stains on the walls and ceiling. There is some sort of white powdery mold, too. The owner seemed embarrassed and gave us his insurance info, but their insurance has said they won't cover bad workmanship, only the interior damage. Of course, it would be crazy to deal with internal damage until the roof itself is fixed. The bottom line is that we paid for a functional roof that keeps water out, and they didn't provide even the minimum. We don't want anyone else to go though the same thing we're going through.
