I notified the young lady that was working the counter that the windshield had a long crack in it. She told me don't worry about it we are taking it up to Portland to be serviced. I said I wanted it noted on the computer that it had a cracked windshield. She told me it was done. She didn't bother to get out of the office to walk around the car to inspect it with me. The car was prepared earlier and the keys and contract were drafted and put on the passenger seat waiting for me. I should have made her come out and inspect it and note the damage in front of me. I returned from my vacation a month later to a letter stating I owed Budget for the cracked windshield. I have tried calling them daily for the last two weeks and only had the phone answered locally once by the new managerJoe Columbo. He informed me he was the new manager and was having personnel issues and that he would rectify the situation and call me back. It has been a week!! No resolution!!
