i.e., A local favorite, orI DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! i went to turn in a dog that was found. The lady at the front was very rude, disrespectful, and a bad attitude. She accused me of "taking" the dog. She told us that we should have just left him where we found him. The dog appeared really sick and needed help and I told her that but she said that since we found the dog it was now our property. She said it would not be able to be put up for adoption and would have to be euthanized without even checking him out first. I decided that I wanted to take the dog to another shelter instead so I walked out to the car. I noticed that the lady was writing down the plate numbers. Shortly after. the police arrived and made my Mom sign the papers to euthanize him and would not allow us to take him to another shelter. The whole time the lady continued to be rude and unprofessional. We were just trying to help the dog hoping that he would have a chance to be with the family. That chance was taken away from him. :( highly recommended because
