Since 1967, Lubbock Regional MHMR Center has been managing and providing oversight for a system of various service providers. Located in Lubbock, Texas, the organization provides services for adults, children and adolescents diagnosed of mental illness and developmental disabilities. It is responsible for planning policy development, coordination and development/allocation of resources. Lubbock Regional MHMR Center is associated with the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) and Texas Department of Aging and Disabilities (DADS) and Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
