We used to really like Romano's but recently the food has been going downhill. The glazed pork chops with mushroom risotto used to be our favorite dish but the last two times it was really bad. The cooks they have hired recently just don't seem to care or are not very proficient with the menu. Once they blamed the poor quality of the pork chops on the supplier, saying they were tough. If they're tough, then why did you offer them on the menu? The second time the cook just did not know how to make the risotto or the sauce, and had improper ingredients. The waitress said that the cook just wasn't as good as the person who cooked for us the last time. If the cook isn't very good, then why are they still employed? They did comp us the meal, which both times they should have since the whole meal was bad. But no amount of comping will make us go back because we not only had a bad meal, we had to go somewhere else to eat and waste even more time. We won't be back.
