I recommend Anita's Cut Above...they aren't happy unless you're happy...

I called to get an estimate before I decided and the prices were really reasonable. I talked to Anita on the phone and she was very pleasant and answered all of my questions. When I arrived, I met Anita who has a fantastic personality and was really excited to be hearing I was getting married. She even spent time with me looking at dresses after talking about my wedding...now how is that for service and attention!Lauren did my color, which she performed a test strand first to make sure it wouldn't damage my previously over processed hair. I was very happy that she wouldn't agree to color my hair if it may damage it. The color is genuinely the best color I've ever received. I mainly went to Visible Changes before for color and I have never been happier than getting my color done at Anita's. She gave me beautiful low lights and highlights. Lauren also cut my hair and did an excellent job. We are trying to get my previously damaged hair to a length to grow it. After she cut it, it looks really healthy and she is going to work with me to grow it out. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone!!!

I dont see how this place has bad reviews. I went in for a hair cut and everyone was so friendly not to mention beautiful to really dress to impress these girls. Kate cut my hair sat me down offered me a complimentary beer, had a fantastic attitude, and made sure i was 100% satisfied. i had previously gone to a hair place down the road and left feeling unclean and unwanted. Anitas cut above ROCKS.

I have know Anita for about ten years. Anita and her staff is very professional. I love the special attention they give to me and every client. Marylou cuts and color my hair and I never unhappy when I leave there. The salon is extremely clean and that is a plus.

Lauren cut and colored my hair yesterday and I'm thrilled with the results. First time I have ever been pleased at the first appointment. She is diligent about giving you what you want and listened to my needs. Thanks Lauren! Great job and beautiful salon.

I can't say enough good things about Anita's Cut Above. They have never let me down. Every stylist is exceptional. The atmosphere is comfy and welcoming. Anita has done herself proud. I am not at all surprised that Anita's Cut Above has been chosen The Best of The Bay Area.
