If you want to pay MSRP for a pair of shoes, this is the place to do so. If you want the same shoe for considerably less, I can recommend several online sources. After a conversation with the new owner, it is clear he is not interested in customer relationships but rather in maximizing profit. That's fine and his right. It will also be easy for me to take my business elsewhere. Trying to support local business has not benefited me at all here. I was pleased with the store as Tri-Running. The new owner of this business (now called The Running Store) is not providing the service or pricing the previous owner(s) did. Save yourself some money.

She was completely knowledgeable of her inventory and knew exactly which shoes for me to try so that I didn't waste my time on the wrong items. And don't forget this is a specialty store. They cater to a sub-set who know what they want and need to remain injury free. And while the products are a little pricey (about $130 a pair), deals can be found so check them out. You may even learn a little something.
