When it was time for me to change the timing belt on my Subaru, I went to Royal Moore to get it replaced. Normally, I would have them replace the water pump, pulleys and tensioners, in addition to the timing belt. This time however, I was informed by Royal Moore that they were in good condition and did NOT need to be replaced. As a consumer, I trusted their advice. My daughter drove my Subaru to Idaho. Without any warning, the car lost all engine power, including steering, in the middle of the highway. My daughter called for a tow truck and the car was towed to a mechanic shop in Rexburg, ID. I was told by the mechanic in Idaho that the tensioner bearings seized and now I could end up with bent valves or even holes in the pistons.

I did some research and spoke to three separate mechanics and each agreed that when as timing belt is replaced, it’s normal practice to replace the whole thing (belt, water pump, pulleys, and tensioners).

I contacted Royal Moore and asked why they suggested that only the belt needed to be replaced instead of the whole thing. After speaking with the manager, he stated that they don’t replace a part if it’s in good condition. Well evidently it was NOT in good condition because not only did it break, but it also may have caused damage to the valves and pistons. Royal Moore refused to take any responsibility for the consequences of not replacing the whole system.

I have been going to Royal Moore Service Center for 10+ years now. I take both my Subaru and Nissan vehicles to their service department for maintenance. Unfortunately, I will not be using the Royal Moore service again. I do not agree with companies that take shortcuts and are not willing to take responsibility for their actions.

There is simply no need to write a long drawn out review about Royal Moore Subaru - they are the best. Period. End of story. Taking my car to Royal Moore Subaru feels like taking it someone in my family; they are that trustworthy. All of the sale mans and service department are grade A, top-notch guys

I can't really add anything to the other 5 star reviews.

These guys are nice to deal with, professional, proficient and good in every meaningful way.

When I picked up my car the gents walked me through the work that had been done, showed me the belts and etc. that needed to be replaced, made my pregnant wife feel special and were simply wonderful to deal with.

I will certainly give these guys more of my business and will happily recommend them to anyone who has car service needs or in need of a new car. Many thanks to all the staff at Royal Moore Subaru.

This was my first experience with a dealership and I felt like they weren't pushy at all. I stayed strict to what I was able to pay and they found ways to work down to it. In the end I drove off with a shiny barely used car for an excellent price! He allowed me to look around without being pushy or rude.

Bought a new Prius through Jason, the online sales expert. The price was great, the include 20 year 200,000 mile powertrain warranty a real benefit, but it was the lengths they went to get us the car we want, sending a guy up to Seatle to swap for the color we wanted. Jason and Royal Moore Toyota are winning combination that I without hesitation recommend to anyone seeking a new Toyota.

This dealership is awesome. I went in to see a Toyota Tundra because my wife thought it would compare to the F150 I was planning to buy (I have always been a ford guy). When I got there, I was so impressed with the tundra, I bought it that night (although I didn't drive it home because they had to order the one in the color I wanted). I do have to say I was a little nervous about how young the salesman was, but he turned out to be very knowledgeable, and when we got inside it felt as though everyone in the dealership came together to make sure I got the best deal possible. The staff was all really friendly, and I got a great family vibe. Also, when the truck came in the salesman came by to pick me up so I could drive the new truck home ( I dont live far from the dealer, but it was a nice gesture). This is by far the best buying experience I have ever had, and would recommend them to anyone, (even stubborn old ford guys like me).
