General Info
Steak Street Restaurant is a restaurant with personal charm, from its New Orleans style exterior architectural design that incorporates elements of the French Quarter with a marriage of brick, wood and wrought iron. The restaurant's upper-level dining vignettes are adorned with a wrap-around, ivy strewn wrought-iron balcony area. Backdrops of commissioned murals amidst authentic exterior architectural elements gracefully add texture and to give the restaurant a Mardi Gras look. Steak Street offers diners hand-cut steaks, fresh seafood and daily chef-inspired specials. The restaurant has built a reputation for award winning marinades and sauces. Steak Street has received prestigious awards. It was voted Best Ambience East of the Mississippi and Best Marinated Steaks East of the Mississippi by Business Traveler magazine. Steak Street is located in the central metropolitan Triad, near the Piedmont Triad International Airport, High Point, N.C.

Provided by YPmobileJust left steak street and all I can say is save your money and go somewhere else. Steak was fatty and service was slow. That will be the last time I ever go here.

Provided by YP.comMy girlfriends and I went to Steak Street last weekend when the weather was warm to try their new Bistro area with glass retractable roof. It was awesome! My career keeps me traveling throughout the east coast and I have wined & dined clients at the best of restaurants. Steak Street was by far the best experience of them all! We sat at their fire pit in the most relaxing chairs and enjoyed several of their appetizers. My favorite was the one the server recommended which was their signature "Voodoo Shrimp." That and their BBQ Chicken Pizza were amazing, and they paired very well with the wine we were drinking! I look forward to more sunny days in spring to return to my knew place to escape!

Provided by YP.comI have lived in Greensboro for four years and have never heard of Steak Street until recently. Unfortunatley, I have been wasting alot of time & money at all the chains. My husband & I were pleasantly surprised at the creativity of the menu & romantic atmosphere. The service was five star and the wine list was very impressive. And they even offer half price wine on Fridays!

very well done.

Provided by YP.comThis restaurant is extremely overated and for the money was not good at all. I do not recommend eating here becasue it will make you feel like you wasted your money and time.

Provided by YP.comI totally agree with the comment "uncomfortable seeting", the iron chairs are heavy and cold and hard, how about bringing your own cushion? I just might...the oyster salad was one of the best I've ever had, the oysters were pleantiful and very tender and very small , but each bite was really good. The decor with artificial trees and bushes is old and dated too. The new "patio" dining and friday and saturday specials and half priced wine is not too bad.
Perhaps the guests that did not enjoy the seating should stop back by. Since their visit, the owners have put in extremely comfortable round leather seated chairs that were ordered from France!

Provided by YP.comThis restaurant was so overpriced for it's quality that it was borderline funny. We were highly dissapointed with the food quality and the very uncomfortable seating.

Provided by YP.comThis by far is the biggest rip off restaurant I have been to.First of all this place is designed to be an expense account restaurant. Companies paying whatever for dinner. The food is nothing to write home about. Of all the upperscale places I have been to eat, this was the most overrated I have ever been to. I would not reccomend it unless you want to waste your time and money.
