I goes to Sakura a couple times a week and order the hibachi salmon with extra vegetables and no soy sauce. It's a perfect combination of protein, carbs, and veggies. The lunch price is just right for all you get. It taste awesome and totally addicting. Great service and friendly staff. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

My husband, a friend and I went to eat at this establishment. We are used to eating at the one near where we live, who loved to see my husband's guide dog and how well he behaves. Usually he lays down, goes to sleep and starts snoring. The receptionist refused to seat us and we asked to speak with the manager. She went to the back twice each time returning, claiming the manager was too busy and refused to talk to us. When we complained and threatened to call the police she decided to ask the family already seated if THEY minded having the dog there. We decided not to eat where we were not welcome and left to have dinner at another Japanese restaurant. This place needs to understand (from the U.S. Dept. of Justice) "Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), privately owned businesses that serve the public, such as restaurants, hotels, retail stores, taxicabs, theaters, concert halls, and sports facilities, are prohibited from discriminating against individuals with disabilities".

This is by far the best sushi I have had in Richmond. The location is nice, the restaurant is very clean and the service is stellar! But most of all, the food is fantastic!
