Provided by DexKnowsDo not take your animal to this fifthy, money hungry bastards. Took my baby here because he could not breathe. He is a 12 year old pug. Vet said not big concern right now, lets worry about his ears and teeth. Vet did not want to do exray until three days has passed. We had his ears cleaned $80. then vet said all his teeth would have to be removed due to infection. Well the next day the baby was really having problem breathing. Took him back x-ray was done, only to find out he has lung cancer. Vet said to put him down would be over $100 plus extra $45. to be in with him. A friend gave me the number of Horizon Animal Hospital. Called them, very nice person on phone. I explained in detail what had just happend. The price was only $35. with me in the room. Ashes put in a small tin box, or wooded box, even with engraving came out to less than Parkway Springs. The personnel at Horizone are animal lovers and don't rip a person off. The people there are caring in every sense of the word .

Provided by YP.comI first brought my pets to Parkway Springs a few years ago and have been taking them there ever since. I have always had a good experience during ever visit to the vet. The dr is great and has always been knowledgable and explains things in a way we can understand. I have done price shopping by phone and their prices have consistently been lower than other hospitals in the area. They do have a high turn-over of some of the staff, but they havesome great people who have been there a long time and know us and our pets by name when we walk in the door. We will continue going here with our pets and telling our firneds about them.

Provided by YP.comWe've been taking our dog to this office for close to five years. We even board her in the facility while we are on vacation. Never once had we had a problem with staff or the facilities. In fact we started boarding her at the vet's office because we were uncomfortable with her staying at the Petsmart Pet Hotel. Our dog was diagnosed with bladder stones two years ago (she's been healthy ever since) after a five day stay at Petsmart. When I had called Petsmart to inquire about her behavior during the week they couldn't remember any details. We've had her stay at Parkway Springs Animal Hospital twice (today will be the start of her third stay) and she's done great! I still call everyday, but I'm a bit overprotective like that. She loves Dr. Jones and gives him lots of licks and tail wags... Its conveniently located, the staff are awesome, and most importantly our dog likes it...

Provided by DexKnowsREFUSING TO RELEASE MY DOGS!!Beyond awful. I've had to retain an attorney for Pete's sake! I brought my 2 dogs in on a Friday for boarding until Monday, at $21 dollars per night for both. I was informed they needed to be up to date on all shots (understandable). So I responded that I think only one is behind on his rabies shot- and asked if they could do it there. They told me they could. I returned on Monday to pick them up, and the invoice was $199!!!! They told me both my dogs were behind on all vaccinations so they went ahead and took care of it because they have to. No one contacted me, no one said this to me while I was there, nothing! If they called their prior vet across town to find out- why wouldn't I be informed that I'll be charged THREE TIMES what I expected to pay- $63 dollars- I don't have the 200 simply because they gave vaccinations they didn't feel were important to tell me about!! At this point they tell me that if I don't pay in full, that they will keep my dog

Provided by YP.comDr, Jones of Parkway Springs Animal Hospital has cared for my Dachshunds for over 16 years and has done an outstanding job. My pets are boarded there. Dr. Jones recommendations for specialists are first rate. I have recommended this facility to others and have taken friends with emergencies to him for treatment.
They all have been delighted with Dr. Jones care and very kind attention to them.
I have had several dogs in my lifetime and am very devoted to them. I can recommend Parkway Springs Animal Hospital with no reservations whatsoever.

Provided by DexKnowsI am new to the valley and asked a co-worker if they could recommend a vet, I was informed of the lack of service and compassion demonstrated by this vet.No one should be treated with indifference, lack of compassion and disregard for respect for our fur kids. There is no way I would bring my pet here. It's all about our pets, and if you have no concern or compassion, find a new career path.Shame on you!
