Raymond Lakin, M.D., F.A.A.F.P., specializes in Family Medicine. At Conviva Fort Lauderdale, he leads a team of compassionate, patient-focused health care professionals with a dedication to medical excellence. Dr. Lakin performed a fellowship in family medicine at the University of Miami in Miami, Florida. He completed a residency in family medicine at The Medical Center in Columbus, Georgia, as well as at McKeesport Hospital in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, Surgery Department. He earned his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in Montserrat, British West Indies. As an undergraduate, he studied pre-med with a major in biology at the University of Miami in Miami, Florida, and transferred to David Lipscomb Christian College in Nashville, Tennessee, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in biology. Dr. Lakin is affiliated with Holy Cross Hospital as courtesy staff and is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians, Florida Academy of Family Physicians, and American Society of Bariatric Physicians. He enjoys fishing offshore and scuba diving, and he holds a black belt in karate.
