Dog's Best Friend Training, founded in 1988 by Patricia McConnell, Ph.D., is dedicated to enriching the lives of dogs and their owners through dog training using positive reinforcement-based techniques. Our dog training classes help owners understand and humanely influence their dogs' behavior. We conduct small group obedience dog training classes at multiple locations in Madison, WI as well as Fitchburg, McFarland, Sun Prairie, and Middleton. We also offer dog agility classes and private behavior consultations, and provide pet sitting and dog walking services. We believe the most effective way to train your dog is through a healthy relationship built on trust, knowledge and clear communication.
