This is my favorite restaurant. ..great food and good service....a very warm feeling and welcomimg place....

First and Best. This is the first place locals will take their out of town guests. It is probably the best food in Fairbanks. beautiful gardens, a deck over the river, a huge bar and oyster bar, and popular.

They have the greatest seafood gumbo I've ever had

If you're willing to pay a little more this place is really good. My husband and I went and brought our 5 month old daughter and if we go again I'll prob. get a babysitter as some of the other diners seemed a little snooty. If you go, try their seafood chowder, it is to die for (halibut, salmon and shrimp in a chowder..yummy)
