My automobile was in the care of Brownies IT for repairs. It was moved outside by them and left for days without my knowledge, in result it was burglarized. Brownies has done nothing to rectify the situation! I DO NOT RECOMMEND, I am sure that many have had great experiences, but mine was not!

I have a 2002 impala and thought I had a transmission problem. Went to Brownies and found out I only needed some brake work. They were very honest and very reasonable. I highly recommend them.

Took my Trailblazer to Brownie...

Took my Trailblazer to Brownies for a bad waterpump and fan clutch. They replaced same with OEM parts and it cost over $950 which was high. The day after they replaced same my service engine light came on. Checked same with my scan tool and it showed a fault with my cooling fan. Checked same and Brownies had not connected the fan to the trucks electric and also did not secure the fan cover back on. I will not use them again and tell my friends the same. This shop was in Kettering.

Business Response05/09/2013

We are sorry something went wrong with our work but this is why we have a warranty on everything we do. I called White-Allen Parts and service and priced out their price for the work we did would be $1407.71 versus our $950.00 or a savings of $457.71 or 48%!!! Please- if you EVER have a problem with our work bring it back do not fix it yourself even if you are mechanically inclined which it seems you are, and we will gladly go over everything and MAKE IT RIGHT -this is what you paid for. It is mechanical and like Murphy's law says - If something can go wrong, it will- But again this is why we have warranties on everything we do- we will make it right! We do not make a million dollars off every vehicle but we do try to do a good job at a fair and reasonable price. Respectfully Submitted, Bob Lowry, Owner

Great service

Not knowing that much about cars brownies gave me the info that I needed. They were very helpful and I would recommend them to anyone. I would like to say thank you brownies for your time and exceptional service. I guess there is a reason that they have been around so long and I can see why. It is good to know someone out there can still be trusted.

JOB WELL DONE

"I just wanted to thank you and the crew @ Brownies for taking care of my car. I had the clutch replaced by another shop in the Northridge area but they messed my car up. You were there on the spot, not only to take me in on a moments notice but to have the problem fixed within the hour. Thank you for your kindness and professional approach to my problem. You have proven to me that there are still honest people in this business who will help the customer and not hurt them. I wish all auto repair shops would follow your example of honesty and professionalism. I will recommend you and Brownies to all my friends and business associates. Thank you again for a job well done! Ron"

Great Service From Brownie's

I went in to get my van a tranny tune up. The guys at Brownie's test drove it, hooked it up to the computer, and had to drop the transmission to see what was wrong. They found something wrong that was expensive, but not the most expensive option. They could have tuned it and moved on (it was still driveable). But, they told me exactly what needed to be fixed and what it would cost. They dealt honestly with me and stand behind their work.

Worth the Time & Money

I had to have transmission work done on my 2002 Taurus this past month. After talking to several of my co-workers I was recomended to Brownies in Kettering. They told me exaclty what was wrong and how much it would cost me to fix. They did not charge me for the diagnosis. The experience was not what I expected. My car was done the next day and at about $50.00 less than what I had been quoted. The manager was very pleasant and helpful he did not treat me like a woman who does not know anything about transmissions. I was impressed with the knowledge from both the manager and the employees. If I have any more problems you can be sure I will call Brownies in Kettering again. I am telling all my family and friends also.

True people

I took my vechicle in for them look at and they told me that I had a problem. I was worried at first because I have never had a transmission problem but they were awesome. It did not cost me all that much and I felt comfortable with them. They have been around for a long time so I figured they were not going any time soon. People you have no idea call them and find out. If you like personal service from people that care call.
