I have been to this branch twice in an attempt to switch my substantial savings/checking accounts from my current bank to Amalgamated. I was not at all impressed with the look of this branch ... very dingy lighting and unkept-looking furnishings ... but I attempted to confer with a service rep anyway. I say "attempted" because she kept interrupting my questions with answers before I even got a chance to finish outlining my concerns. I gave up and just left. I went to the branch again two weeks later hoping I could get a different service rep. After being asked to wait for a service rep by an elderly gentleman in the service area who said he did not have the expertise to help me, I left after waiting almost 10 min. when I saw that only two service reps were attending customers. Those 10 min. gave me a chance to really look around the branch and it looked even dingier than my first visit. I think I'll just give my business to a cleaner and more modern bank in my area.
