A cool restaurant on the very cool Boylston Street, one block from shopping heaven Newbury Street. Parish specializes in "couture" sandwiches with recipes provided by local and national chefs. My favorite is The Regal Regis--an indulgent combo of steak and portobello mushrooms in a soy, scallion, balsamic marinade served on a huge piece of toasted french bread, with a side of the most amazing potato salad I have ever tasted.Parish also has a full bar and fabulous drinks. Great service, great food and drinks at a really decent price, and a great location for refueling after a hard day of shopping. You won't regret it!
- General Info
- The Parish Cafe opened in November 1992. Its concept is simple, but fabulous! Owner Gordon Wilcox approached Boston’s famous chefs and asked them each to create a sandwich for the Parish Cafe menu. Each sandwich is named for the chef and the restaurant they are from. Since our menu items are created by other chefs our standards are extremely high, which shows through in our enormous following. The Parish Cafe opened in November 1992.
