We had the worst experience with insignia. We should have followed our instinct when the first red flag came up with Ted. He agreed to a discount on our install of pylon sign which he later said he didn't agree too. That was the red flag. Also btw Ted will not answer your questions in an email only over the phone. He does that because he doesn't want anything in writing. Again Red Flag.. Opening day of our business came and went. We pulled permits with this company 4 weeks previous and still no sign, no pylon sign, just a banner "now open" that they said they were too busy to hang. This was the clencher... Ted numerous times called us to try and get us to use cheaper materials on our sign. He threatened us with a later date of arrival of our sign, trying to get us to ok the cheaper materials. We continuously said no. He finally told us that he quoted us wrong and he we had to choose cheaper materials or less materials used. We spoke to the owner, Joe who was not interested in us as a client, only in Teds commission. He isn't giving us our full deposit back. He's keeping $800 for the costa mesa permits being pulled. Which by the way he charges $85.00 an hour to pull the permits. When we wanted our full amount back, he told us to take him to small claims court. I've found companies that tell you to take them to small claims court, have been there quite a few times before so they know the dirll. I'm writing this review because I've been a business owner for over 6 years of two other businesses. This is my third business which we opted to use as our sign fabricator. I should have used my instinct and went with a more reliable company. You always get what you pay for. if it seems to good to be true, it is. I got bait and switched by this company and I do not wish this on any other business.

Working with Insignia over the past several years has always been a positive and friendly experience. They have one of the most knowledgeable, competent and service oriented staffs in the sign business and have always shown the highest level of integrity. We highly recommend this company for designing and manufacturing all types of interior and exterior signs, but their specialty is fabricating and installing channel letters.
